Looking for an opportunity where success comes naturally? Then you may have found your crew. We’re looking for a Snow Captain/Supervisor to join our team. 
Here’s what you’d do: 
This is an ON-CALL, Seasonal Part-Time Position.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting Branch Teams in the area of Snow and Ice Management through service partner engagement, safety/training, production, in-storm and post-storm responsibilities, and inventory/equipment management. 
 
You’d be responsible for:  
  • Service Partner Engagement                                                                               
  • On-site visit (client sites)
  • Lead Subcontractor optimization to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Manage multiple service partners during snow storms
  • Safety / Training                                                                   
  • Providing training and guidance to crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Coordinate with team members, service partners, and client onsite trainings as needed
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment for the team.
  • Production
  • Coordinate with branch teams to validate Production/Snow Organizational Charts
  • Implementing snow clearing plans, ensuring efficient and timely removal of snow from driveways, parking lots, walkways, and other designated areas.
  • Equipment/Inventory Management                                                                         
  • Maintains inventory by physical inspections
  • Monitor/assist pre-storm and post-storm equipment checks
  • Ensure bagged materials are stored properly
  • Pre-Storm / In-Storm / Post-Storm Responsibilities                                                                    
  • Support branch, subcontractors                                                      
  • Aid Branch Administrator in timesheet collection
  • Assist in collection of subcontractor invoices/timesheet when needed                                                 
 You might be a good fit if you have: 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of snow removal experience and 5-8 years of generally managing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple sites, meeting deadlines, and demands
  • Communicate clearly, comfortably, and effectively with clients, team members, and management
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have: 
  • Ability to drive all company vehicles
  • Resolve problems while keeping in mind the best interests of the company, client and employees
  • Prioritize and plan work to maximize efficiency
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely
  • Do any of the following for an extended period:
    • Drive
    • Paperwork/Documentation  
  • Good knowledge of industrial materials and equipment used in snow removal
