Here’s what you’d do:

The Indirect Tax Manager is responsible for various aspects of corporate indirect tax for BrightView Holdings, Inc., and subsidiaries. The Indirect Tax Manager interacts with accounting and finance team in meeting all indirect tax needs.   The Indirect Tax Manager also coordinates the preparation and reviewing of all aspects of the indirect tax filings.   This includes but is not limited to sales and use, personal property and various business licenses.

You’d be responsible for:

• Manage the preparation and review various monthly, quarterly, and annual indirect tax filings.
• Manage the various audits by various taxing jurisdictions.
• Coordinate SOX compliance controls execution and modification for all indirect tax processes.
• Monitor proposed tax legislative/rate changes regarding state and local tax.
• Coordinate the improvement of tax policies and procedures.
• Prepare annual forecasts of tax expenses related to the various business units 
• Perform special tax projects as assigned.    

You might be a good fit if you have:

• BS in Accounting, MS in Taxation and or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in private industry or public accounting.
• Ability to research, analyzes, and interprets GAAP policies and procedures, state and local tax laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of sales 
• Prior experience with SOX 404 control objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Candidate must have strong analytical, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with management and peers.
