Here’s what you’d do:

An Estimator will review plans and prepare estimates for commercial landscape and irrigation projects.

You’d be responsible for:

• Thorough analysis of plans, specifications and supporting documents provided with Invitation to Bid
• Detailed quantification of plans through standard quantity survey software
• Compiling data from quantification and specifications to build itemized cost-based estimate
• Maintaining accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors, inputting project specific quotes into each estimate
• Leveraging estimating software to present information to management
• Developing project specific qualifications, identifying conflicts within plans/specifications, and providing solutions to client based on industry expertise

 You might be a good fit if you have:

• Experience in the landscaping industry, estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects
• Strong work ethic
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain strong focus on client while prioritizing tasks to succeed in fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), OnScreen Takeoff

 And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with HCSS preferred 
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
